We aslo have a Track day at the Shanghai F1 Circuit on this date : 21/7/09.

But we need to know the number of riders that will be there as we need to pre-booked the time slots.

The Fee are :

RMB 300 / session (BG RACE members that store their bike in BG's Zhuhai or Tianma facilities)

RMB 200 / day (BG members for track side support and preparation)

RMB 500 / Session (for non-BG RACE members)

We'll transport your bike to SIC from Tianma and return for RMB 300/bike

Track sessions has to be booked in advance.

Dear BG Shanghai members.

Many of you has been compliant for a long time that the Tianma Circuit has been very un-cooperative and the F1 Circuit has been non-existing.

I think now, we have finally got the F1 Circuit to open up fairly regular for us and many of you had a great time last Sunday and this Monday and we'd been negotiating many more great deals with the F1 circuit for the rest of 09 and especially at 2010...

On the Tianma front

We have been working with the Tianma Top management for quite a while now, and finally after a 3 hours big meeting today with their Boss and top management, Tianma will have a new Track policy and track charges from Tomorrow 15/7/2009

Some of these changes you'll like and some not so happy, but we feel this will be a good start as at least we all know where to begin.

These are the NEW Deals :

1) Tianma will give us AT LEAST 14 days advance notice on any change of the track usage, means Tianma's calendar will NOT change 14 days before. unlike before, we never know when they'll rent the track out last minute !!!This will let us plan what we can do at least 14 days in advance.

2) Tianma PROMISED they'll give us at least 1 weekend per month as the Team practice open days. And another 4-5 or more open track days during the weekdays.

3) During these Summer months, Tianma track will open from 9.30 am till at least 6.30 pm over the weekends so more sessions can be scheduled into the weekend days.

4) Teams and Clubs are allowed to pre-purchase PER hour sessions, but NO ONE is allowed to book more then 3 sessions each weekend dates.And these private booking has to be booked at least 10 days in advance, NO on the spot private booking is allowed.BG will be looking at booking private sessions during a weekend so our members can be sure of their track sessions.

5) Track tickets fee has been increased : Cars are now RMB 250/session and Bike will be at RMB 150 session (from RMB 100)

6) Special Deals :
i) Bike Riders who'll entered into the coming round (early Aug) of the Tianma Racing Festival will be issued a pass that they only pay RMB 100/session for bike practice for the rest of 09.

ii) Members can purchase a season Practice pass for RMB 3500 for a 12 month period. this will allow you to use as many session as you want, this is a great deal for members who will be practicing alot at Tianma Circuit.

7) Tianma is working on night racing and has already confirmed that they'll install night lightings, this will give us practice time from 5.00 pm up to 9.00 pm at night, we'll inform the approx time when this will happen when we have more info.

Super Kart Members

8) For our Super Kart members, due to the number of Super Karts using the track has been very small each time (The weekend before, there were 3 - 4 Karts sung the track and this was after we'd pushed the management as it was a weekend.)Tianma has applied these new regulations on the Super Kart practice as :

i) On a Open Practice Sat/Sun weekend days : Tianma will required minimum 8 Super karts using the track session before they'll schedule Super Kart practice sessions into the days' schedules. If there are less then 8 Karts, the rest of the Karts will need to pay the practice session fee of all the 8 Karts expected.

ii) We have managed to convinced Tianma to keep the track ticket cost at RMB 150/session same as Motorcycles.


These are the major changes and we're told that Tianma will stick to these changes and their promises of the above item 1, 2, 3.
